It’s me, hi! Thoughts from Nu and Emily

Hello and welcome to the blog side of Nu Sex Therapy! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located on the sacred lands of the Cheyenne and Arapahoe people which is known today as Denver, Colorado.

Here are some fun facts about me: I love drinking bold coffee out of a mug that my hands can effortlessly wrap around. Cheeky small batch stationary feels like a love language to me, and it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, I adore being warm & cozy! I guess you could say it’s the simple pleasures that bring me joy. And yes, I of course, love talking about sex. The field of human sexuality makes me feel alive. It’s a passion and a pleasure to be a sex therapist! You can read all about my sex therapist awakening here which was prompted by this amazing professor.

On this blog I’ll be sharing “Nu Thoughts” in an effort to help normalize conversations and connect some dots for all the women and femmes out there.
